The Huchuy Qosqo hike is a pleasant and not challenging option for you. It has incredible lakes, great canyons and authentic villages that are rarely visited by tourists. This short hike offers incredible snowy mountains, an original paved Inca trail and wonderful landscapes that will take you out of the ordinary. This hike is a perfect option for those who have little time or are beginners.
Day 1 – Cusco – Tambomachay – Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Cusco
04:00 am Hotel or hostel transfer
Transfer to the archaeological complex of “Tambomachay”
05:00 am Start of the walk, starting point Tambomachay
08:30 am Arrival at the highest point of the treck (Pumamarca Pass)
11:00 am. Lunchtime, on the shores of the “Qoriqocha” lagoon
11:30 am Restart of the walk after lunch.
2:00 p.m. Guided tour in the archaeological complex of “Huchuy Qosqo”.
4:00 p.m. Descent towards the town of Lamay (2 hours duration approx.).
5:30 p.m. Return from Lamay to Cusco.
